Family mediation for adults

Towards connection, openness and empathy

How can a mediator help you to improve your homelife?

The aim of mediation is for you to find ways to actively improve your home life. Imagine how different it could be. Your goals, priorities and concerns are most important - I adapt to your unique situation.

I listen calmly without judging you and ensure everybody gets time to openly talk. I don’t give any advice or push you in any direction. The sessions help you to uncover what is underneath your feelings – what do you really need for things to improve? How do others feel about the situation? This increased awareness empowers your family to identify realistic steps to actively improve your communication, home life and well-being.

Where appropriate, I happily diverge from the traditional table setting. Sessions can take place outside, in meditation/exercise rooms, in the comfort of your home, or elsewhere. I can also schedule sessions world-wide over Skype/Zoom etc. For me it is most important that you feel safe and comfortable throughout this process.

Mediation can include individual appointments and/or joint sessions with multiple parties. Book a free 45min discovery/clarity call to get all your questions about mediation answered!

If the other person doesn't want to engage in the service, you can also book only individual sessions more

Why is mediation a good way to resolve conflicts?

Mediation has many advantages in comparison to other resolution formats: unlike in court or arbitration, no judgement will be given, and no solutions will be imposed on you. You know best what your family needs, so as a mediator I facilitate and structure your own resolution process.

Mediation is also sustainable: Playing an active part in the process helps you to identify with the decisions taken, so it is easier to stick to them. Through mediation, you also learn to communicate more openly with each other, this helps you to better handle future conflicts. This offer is directed at all kinds of couple/family constellations, including single parents, patchwork, LGBTQ and adoptive families.
